Why Does Hypnosis Work?

This is a question that can be answered in a long book! LOL! I like to describe hypnosis as, "meditating with a purpose" the purpose is the change you desire. The meditation is the hypnotic trance induced by your hypnotist.

To be perfectly honest, hypnosis does not always work!

Hypnosis works if you really want the change. If you are half hearted or not serious about the change, hypnosis can work for a little bit and then you may fall back into old patterns, or it may not work at all.

For example, lets say you are a smoker and your wife and doctor are both telling you, you need to stop if you want to live longer and breathe better. You like the idea of living longer and breathing better, but you really don't want to kick the habit. You enjoy it way too much. You heard hypnosis works fast so you choose to take that route. In this case you may quit for a couple of weeks or a few months, but fall back into the habit, or not stop at all, because you enjoy it so much and deep down you don't want to stop smoking.

This is one of the reasons I require a consultation, prior to booking a hypnosis appointment. I want you to succeed! Hypnosis works fast and is very effective at creating change - however you have to WANT the change for it to work!
